Nick Edwards, Managing Director

Nick has over 15 years’ consultancy experience working for companies including Cisco, Microsoft, O2 and RWE nPower. Recently, he’s spearheaded the development of the company’s data and analytics capability and overseen the IT investment programme that’s accompanied this. He’s also a keen rugby player, although is now more likely to watch matches from the bar than make tackles on the pitch. He holds a Geography degree from Oxford University.
John Bee, Managing Director
MA Cantab, DipM ACIM
John has 13 years’ consultancy experience working for companies including Sky, Gap, BT, Gillette and Samsung. He’s an expert at using consumer research methods to drive strategic outputs, based on his broad knowledge of statistical modelling. He also runs White Space’s pro bono practice and is a member of Helen & Douglas House’s Corporate Advisory Group, a non-executive role supporting the world’s first children’s hospice. He holds a History degree from Cambridge University.
Andrew Downs, Head of Analytics
Andrew has over 9 years’ consultancy experience working for companies including British Gas, Cisco, Samsung and Lloyds Banking Group. He’s an experienced strategy consultant that heads up the company’s data and analytics capability. When he’s not exploring his recent interest in advanced predictive modelling techniques, he enjoys playing poker and travelling. He holds a first-class Economics degree from Exeter University.
Leon Houseman, Head of Marketing

Leon has 11 years’ experience in client side marketing roles within management consultancy, software, FMCG, motorsport and aerospace sectors. Leon joined White Space Strategy in 2015 and heads up our marketing department, developing our marketing strategy to help us with our continued growth. Leon holds a degree in Business Psychology & Marketing and a CIM professional diploma in marketing.
Sarosh Khan, Engagement Manager
PhD, MSc, LLB (Hons)
Sarosh has 4 years’ consultancy experience working for companies including British Gas, Thames Water, Unilever, and Sainsbury’s. Leading White Space’s utilities and FMCG engagements, he is an expert at using a variety of research methodologies to drive strategic outputs, with genuinely actionable recommendations for clients. Away from his desk, he’s a keen sportsman playing a variety of sports. He holds a PhD in Law from the University of Southampton.
Sophie Herring, Senior Engagement Manager
Sophie has 4 years’ consultancy experience with White Space. She heads up our Financial Services activities, and has experience across sectors including FS, Energy and Manufacturing. She has managed strategy engagements for clients including DS Smith, British Gas and Travelex. Sophie typically works on complex projects involving both in-depth qualitative research and advanced data analytics, drawing these together to produce strategic recommendations. She holds a history degree from the University of Cambridge.
