- Business Analyst
We are looking for bright, energetic and enthusiastic graduates from leading universities to join our team. If successful, you will be helping some of the UK’s leading companies solve their strategic issues, by understanding their markets and unlocking potential opportunities for growth. The workload will be extremely varied: One day, you could be helping an international company like Gap launch a new product or enter a new market, the next you could be working for a charity like the British Heart Foundation decide where to invest to unlock future growth.
Successful candidates will have a track record of high academic achievement, with a minimum of a 2.1 degree in any subject. They will enjoy facing and solving complex problems, and will be keen to take on new challenges.
While business experience is not essential, good communication skills and the ability to build a rapport with people are particularly valued, as is the ability to work in a deadline driven environment. An excellent phone manner is also required as the role involves a variety of telephone research. Confidence with numbers is highly desirable. Applicants with foreign language skills, such as French and German, are encouraged.
Business Analyst activities and responsibilities will include the following:
- Business development
- Desktop research
- In-depth telephone research
- Advanced data analysis; SPSS & Excel modelling
- Strategic thinking; identifying issues and forming hypotheses
- Developing bespoke market sizes
- Presentation writing
- Client presentations
