White Space has today announced a new partnership with Granted Consultancy.
Granted Consultancy specialises in unlocking non-dilutive funding for innovative companies to help accelerate the commercialisation of R&D projects and wider expansion plans. Since 2010, they have developed a demonstrable track record of successfully securing funding, and to date have secured over £75m of UK and EU grant funding for a number of R&D projects.
By partnering with Granted, we have enhanced our ability to serve fast growth ventures and corporate spin-outs. Grant-based funding is a core revenue source for these scale-up businesses. Through this partnership, White Space is now well placed to help these types of organisations understand how grant funding can support their growth, and to implement that growth with funding in place.
John Bee, White Space MD, explains how this relationship emerged:
“I first began working with Granted when they supported a major funding bid for one of White Space’s clients, relating to a new offering we’d helped develop. I was really impressed with how they understood the strategic context around this offering, and with their expert knowledge of how to secure external funding for it. These capabilities could be really useful to other companies we work for. White Space are also really well placed to help Granted’s clients develop and implement growth plans – I’m looking forward to getting to know some of these companies, and to helping them grow successfully”
Jon Williams, Granted Director, is equally excited about the prospect of working with White Space:
“We’re really thrilled to have entered into this new partnership with White Space. There’s great complementarity between the services that our businesses offer and we’re anticipating a high degree of demand from our respective client bases. In particular, we see strong alignment between our proven ability to identify and secure funding with White Space’s ability to enhance its clients’ market understanding and rapidly develop compelling route-to-market strategies.”
