White Space Offices are Carbon Neutral
As part of White Space Strategy’s commitment to lowering our work’s impact on the environment, we have partnered with climate and sustainable development experts ClimateCare to offset the 26.79 tonnes of CO2 associated with keeping our offices up and running.
Our emissions will be offset through projects including two world-leading clean cooking projects in Kenya and Ghana. These clean cooking projects not only cut carbon emissions, helping tackle climate change, they improve lives by halving fuel bills for families and reducing exposure to toxic fumes which kill more people each year than malaria and tuberculosis combined. By cutting fuel requirements the projects also reduce deforestation, protecting precious habitat. In Ghana alone, the Gyapa stoves project has saved more than 4 million people over $80 million on their fuel bills so far.
Alongside our work helping charities such as Shelter and Sobell House with pro-bono consulting projects, we are proud to be doing our bit – even in this difficult time – to protect future generations & to continue doing world-changing projects that benefit both our local, and global, communities.
If you’re looking to reduce your impact on the environment, we’ve done multiple projects in plastic replacement, the future of energy, reaching net zero and the looking into the future of mobility.
If you’d like to discuss this with us further, we’d love to hear from you.
