CADENT

White Space helped Cadent to develop future-facing propositions for local authorities, business and consumers

To support Cadent’s ambitions for decarbonising heat in the UK, White Space has been working collaboratively with their CEO and leadership team to develop propositions rooted in the needs of stakeholders, including residents, businesses and local government

  • Service: Proposition Development
  • Sector: Energy

Programmes of work for Cadent have included:

  • Interviews with key stakeholders to understand needs from their gas distributor
  • Virtual and in-person proposition development and refinement workshops with internal teams, residents, businesses and other stakeholders
  • Writing, carrying out and analysing surveys to understand needs and test proposition concepts
  • Engagement with key local voices to discuss Cadent’s ambitions and explain proposition development process

Our approach delivered:

Customer-led propositions, including estimated investment costs and timeframes for development and implementation

Recommendations around how propositions could work together as a package including understanding of likely uptake around core propositions, what adjustments may be needed and how frequently these may be needed

Text, video and slide outputs that have been shared with internal and external stakeholders including investors, MPs, local council, BEIS, Ofgem and interested consumers and businesses

“White Space were brilliant at getting us to think differently and bringing the outside world in so that we could hear first hand about the needs and insights from our customer base.

They supported the creation and testing of proposition ideas that were seen as ‘game changing’ by our consumers”
